FAQ

Questions we hear most often

You can order from just 5 pieces with a Label Proof Pack — 5 production labels with a photo proof for $30; standard runs start from 50 per design.
Yes. Upload PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, PSD, or AI files directly on the product page. Our team reviews every file within 24 hours and reaches out if anything needs attention before production begins.
We offer flat (straight cut), center fold, end fold, Manhattan fold, and sew-in. Each fold type is selectable in the configurator.
Standard production is 8 to 10 business days from artwork clearance. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination. Our team reviews every file within 24 hours of your order.
PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, PSD, or AI files at 300dpi or higher are recommended for the sharpest woven result.
Our team reviews every artwork file within 24 hours of your order. If we spot anything that needs attention — a resolution issue, a colour, or a design element that won't translate cleanly to thread — we reach out before production begins. If everything looks good, your order goes straight into production.
Yes. The design is woven into the thread, not printed on top, so woven labels withstand repeated machine washing without fading or peeling.
Yes. Iron-on heat-activated backing is available as a finish option in the configurator.
You can order sew-in labels, iron-on labels, damask woven labels, folded labels (center fold, end fold, and Manhattan fold), and flat straight-cut labels — all configurable on the product page with your own size, thread colors, and logo.
Yes. You can start from just 5 pieces with a Label Proof Pack, or place a standard run from 50 labels per design — no large bulk commitment is required, which makes it ideal for small clothing brands and fashion startups.

Preparing artwork for a woven label

A woven label is built from thread on a Jacquard loom, not printed. That changes what artwork survives the process — a file that looks sharp on screen can lose its finest detail once every line has to be represented by physical warp and weft.

Vector beats raster, every time

SVG, AI, EPS and PDF give clean edges at any size because the loom is driven from the outline. A 72 dpi PNG lifted from a website will be soft at label scale. If raster is all you have, supply the largest original you can find rather than an upscaled copy — upscaling invents detail the weave then tries to reproduce.

Line thickness is a physical limit

Anything under roughly 0.5 mm at final size cannot be woven reliably — there simply are not enough threads across it. Hairline serifs, thin rules and outlined text are the usual casualties. Thicken strokes or increase the label size; the free artwork review catches this before production, but designing for it saves a round trip.

Color count is a design decision, not a cost driver

Up to twelve thread colors are available, and unlike screen printing the count barely moves the price — setup is per design, not per color. What it does affect is legibility: gradients and photographic shading do not weave, so convert them to flat, deliberate color separations before uploading.

Choose the fold before you finalise the size

Fold type changes the visible area. A center-fold label shows half its woven width; an end-fold loses a few millimeters to each turned edge. Set the fold first, then size the artwork to what remains visible, or the design will be technically correct and still look cramped on the garment.
